Izzy - UNDERGOING HEARTWORM TREATMENT!! the Dog needs a home
Izzy just arrived at her North Carolina foster home and will be starting heartworm treatment soon. She is a gorgeous young girl and is as sweet as she is pretty! She is great with other dogs.
Izzy's heartworm treatment was delayed due some inflammation in her chest. She will be on some medication for a few weeks then will get rechecked. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
UPDATE: Izzy's coughing has stopped and she had another check-up and x-rays. The vet doesn't feel like she is healthy enough for heartworm treatment yet. She will continue on her medication and will have a recheck in Februar.
